Salmon Arm Landfill Gets an Upgrade with 20ft Modified Sea Container

News

We are very excited to announce that the Salmon Arm Landfill, located at 4290 20th Ave SE in Salmon Arm, B.C., has received a new 20 ft modified sea container to assist with the collection of program materials from residents.

“This upgraded depot will allow us to provide even more British Columbians with an eco-friendly and cost-effective way to recycle used motor oil, oil filters, oil containers, antifreeze and antifreeze containers,” said David Lawes, CEO, Interchange Recycling. “We are proud that all of the products managed by Interchange Recycling are recyclable and can be used to produce a variety of new materials that feed into the circular economy in the province.”

“The Columbia Shuswap Regional District has made impressive strides this year to make it easier for residents to recycle, and Interchange Recycling upgrading this new used oil depot is great to see,” said Graham Casselman, Salmon Arm Landfill. “Now, more residents can conveniently recycle their program materials, keeping them out of our beautiful environment.”

Interchange Recycling would like to acknowledge that Salmon Arm Landfill is located on the unceded ancestral lands of the Secwépemc Nation.
