Community Events & Programs
We are proud to collect and manage program materials all across British Columbia through a variety of channels including our network of publicly accessible recycling centres. By working together with communities helps us meet our mandate to provide British Columbians with a convenient, free and eco-friendly way to recycle used motor oil, antifreeze, oil filters and related containers.
Our Ambassador Team travels around the province in the summer creating awareness around the importance of recycling program materials and giving away great prizes!
Grants are available to registered municipalities, private businesses, non-profit organizations, and other sectors to provide additional infrastructure for their public collection facilities.
We have grant funding available to BC Regional Districts, Municipalities and community recycling organizations to support Community Collection or “round-up” events for residents.
