RCF Signage

Our network of return collection facilities (RCFs) across the province is vital to helping us achieve our goal of providing access to recycling resources for all British Columbians. To ensure RCFs have everything they need to collect our program materials, we’ve created a handy tool kit of signage and decals to aid in the collection of used oil and antifreeze.

Please note: Signs are available at no charge to registered RCFs, just have your 5-digit BCUOMA RCF Registration number ready.

Signage Materials

There are several different materials for signage.

• Alupanel is made of aluminum. It’s fit for outdoor and indoor use. It’s best for long-term durability.
• Coroplast is plastic-based. While also being good for outdoor and indoor use, it is best for short-term use.
• Magnetic signs are flexible and can be applied directly to drums, tanks, seacan walls or other steel surfaces. If used on drums please remove prior to pick up by your Collector and re-use on empty drums.
• Decals are vinyl stickers that can be applied directly to a multitude of surfaces. However, the decal cannot be re-used if it’s removed from the original surface. Vinyl decals are crafted for long-term use.
