Interchange Recycling Opens Consultation on Proposed Yukon Stewardship Plan

In January 2024, the Yukon Government approved the Yukon Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Regulation which requires the Producers of lubricating oil, antifreeze, diesel exhaust fluid, oil filters and automotive containers to develop a Stewardship Plan and implement a program in Yukon by July 1, 2025. In response to this regulation, Interchange Recycling is seeking stakeholder input on our proposed Stewardship Plan. 

The consultation period will run from May 7 to July 31, 2024 during which time we will hold two virtual information sessions and accept feedback from stakeholder groups.

VIRTUAL SESSIONS (via Zoom): 

  • Session 1: Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10am YST 
  • Session 2: Monday, June 17, 2024 at 10am YST
