GFL Environmental (Ellice Recycling) now has a 20ft seaspan container with a 2,200L tank for used oil, a 1,000L Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) tote for antifreeze, and an open drum for filters. Additionally, West Coast Landfill received a 20ft container, which includes a 2,200L tank, a container for antifreeze and two 50-gal drums for filters.
“The latest infrastructure upgrades at GFL Environmental (Ellice Recycling) & West Coast Landfill demonstrates our commitment to making it easier and more convenient for BC residents to drop off used motor oil and other accepted materials,” said Jenn Robson, Director of Operations, Interchange Recycling. “The used motor oil & anti-freeze collected through this program are 100% recyclable, and when they’re returned to approved collection locations, they can be safely recovered and reused” adds Robson.
